Handling and storage
- Storage
- Store the sealed vial refrigerated at 2-8 C (36-46 F), protected from light. After reconstitution, keep refrigerated at all times.
- Reconstitution
- Reconstitute with 5 mL of bacteriostatic water. Add the diluent slowly against the vial wall and swirl gently until dissolved.
- Required materials
- Bacteriostatic water, sterile syringe, alcohol swabs.
- Handling precautions
- Handle under aseptic laboratory conditions. Wipe the vial septum with an alcohol swab before each withdrawal. Do not shake; swirl gently until fully dissolved.
